Staff & invitations

Every teammate you add is one of three main roles: Owner, Admin or Staff. Owners can do everything, including billing. Admins manage settings and the team but can't change the plan. Staff see and update their own jobs.

Sending an invitation

Go to Settings → Users → Invite Staff. Enter an email, pick a role (Admin or Staff) and send. The invitee receives a branded email with a single-use link. Links are valid for 7 days; you can resend or revoke from the same page.

What the invitee sees

Clicking the link lands them on /invite/<token>. If they already have a Suiviro account it adds the new business to their profile and routes them to the dashboard. If they don't, they sign up and the account is auto-linked to your business.

Tapping the link a second time (because someone forwarded the email, or they clicked twice) is safe - already-accepted members go straight to the dashboard rather than seeing an error.

Staff onboarding flow

New staff get a short 3-step welcome: confirm phone (used for SMS notifications), set their availability, and review their first day's schedule. When they tap Go to my day they land on the calendar and a recap email goes to their inbox.

Role permissions

  • Owner - full access, including billing, Xero connection and account deletion. Every business has exactly one owner.
  • Admin - all settings (notifications, templates, staff, clients) but cannot change the plan or disconnect Xero.
  • Staff - sees jobs they're assigned to, marks them Attended or Completed, and messages clients through the Inbox.

Two extra read-only roles exist for edge cases (a scheduler who doesn't do jobs, or a silent viewer). Ask us at admin@suiviro.com if you need them - most teams don't.

Only the owner can promote a member to admin, and roles can only be changed inside Suiviro - they can't be self-elevated from the app.
